About the data
We use one roster per school: the latest full roster we have collected. We use the heights and weights listed on school rosters. About 93% of listed weights end in 0 or 5. We count shortstops, second basemen and third basemen as infielders. We count designated hitters as utility players. Pitchers with no throwing arm listed count as pitchers, but not as right-handed or left-handed. Charts that show height and weight together use only players with both listed.
Data collected by October 1, 2026.
